Guiding Your Path To Wellness

Massage therapy to help you stay balanced, healthy and pain-free.

Massage Therapy

The primary goal of massage therapy is to help bring your body back to homeostasis — a stable state of equilibrium — and achieve balance in your everyday life.

I do this not only during our hands-on therapy session, but also by educating you on the soft tissue and muscle groups that are contributing to your underlying problems. It's my job to show you what you can do to help yourself on a daily basis, in between appointments.

I will evaluate your needs and issues before each massage therapy session, so we are focusing on the areas that need the most attention. This way, every massage is a truly custom experience based on your specific needs.

About

My name is Halle Nero. I am a Board-Certified, Licensed Massage Therapist, specializing in the movement and mobility of soft tissue to dissolve physical restrictions causing pain and dysfunction in your body.

My goal is to help you achieve your peak physical and mental potential through massage, movement, stretching and education on body "maintenance," to improve range of motion and resolve pain.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

2002 | National Institute of Massotherapy
Garfield Heights, Ohio

2002 | Myofascial Pain and Dysfunction (Trigger Point) Certification

2003 | Massage Therapist License
Ohio State Medical Board

2014 | Repetitive Use Injury Therapy (RUIT)/Muscle Release Technique Certification

Services

I work with each client to custom-design a massage treatment plan to meet your specific needs and restore range of motion. Paired with education on better movement and pain-free stretching techniques, my primary focus is helping each client understand how your body needs to move — and what you can do to achieve wellness, long-term.

Your custom-designed massage program could include one (or more) of these techniques during each session.

30 Minutes = $50 / 60 Minutes = $80 / 90 Minutes = $120

Relaxation Massage

Rhythmic, applied pressure is not painful, but intended to be deeply relaxing. This massage is specifically designed to sooth and relax, not to relieve underlying ailments or chronic pain.

Therapeutic Massage

Focus on chronically problem areas with deeper pressure, using fingers, thumbs and elbows to release chronic muscle tension and restore proper function. A regular schedule of therapeutic massage often results in improved circulatory, lymphatic and neurological function.

RUIT / Muscle Release

Repetitive Use Injury Technique

This unique injury therapy combines compression, extension, and movement, breaking up scar tissue, lengthening muscle, and restoring critical muscle memory.

FAQs

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to reschedule or cancel a massage, I require a minimum of 12-hours notice. Please let me know as soon as possible via text or phone call: 440-554-1832. Cancellations occurring less than 12 hours prior will be charged a $45 fee at your next appointment.

What should I expect during my appointment?

New clients, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment and complete this New Client Information Form. Please be sure to bring it with you for your first session.

Existing clients, please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment so we can discuss any health changes or concerns and start your session on time.

When you arrive, we will discuss your specific questions and concerns. Then I will leave the room for you to change. Lay face up on the massage table and cover yourself with the top blanket. There will be a bolster under your knees for comfort. I will knock on the door before entering to make sure you’re ready.

It is your choice to talk or remain quiet during your session. I’m happy to follow your lead and mirror your decision. There are times I may need to ask you to reposition or request feedback, but I want your massage experience to be as relaxing as possible.

What should I wear to my appointment? Will I be completely undressed?

What you wear is entirely up to you and your comfort level. Some individuals wear comfortable, lounge clothing; others wear casual clothing. You won’t leave feeling oily or greasy; therefore, your clothing will be safe regardless.

Most massage techniques are better performed with you undressed so lotion can be used to help initiate the proper movement of muscle and lymph. However, your comfort level is my greatest concern. You will be covered during the whole massage.  Only the area being worked on will be exposed.

How will I feel after my appointment?

Most individuals feel a sense of peace and wellbeing right after and throughout the day — all depending on the severity of your pain and tension. Chronic aches and pains may take a few days to subside as the body is reminded to repair and heal them. Less severe issues may be calmed down (possibly nonexistent) upon leaving your treatment.

What should I do after my massage?

It’s most beneficial to take it easy for the day, allowing your body to rest and repair itself.  Day in and day out, our bodies tend to hide muscular issues so we can carry on with our daily activities. Massage allows your mind to reconnect with your neuromuscular system to help activate repair. It’s beneficial to give your body the rest of the day to do this. Be sure to aid this process by drinking lots of water to flush out the toxins. If they aren’t flushed out, they will likely deposit themselves back into the body.

What payments do you accept?

I accept all major credit cards (Visa, MC, AMEX, Discover), cash, and check payment.

Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes! Ask about purchasing a gift certificate for a friend or family member during your appointment.

Testimonials

“Halle is a lifesaver! I’m a graphic designer, prone to chronic neck and shoulder pain from working at a desk all day. Halle was able to customize a therapeutic, bi-weekly plan for me to restore neck flexibility and eliminate the constant burning and ache in my upper neck and back. She even showed me stretching techniques to use at home, in between sessions. I can’t thank her enough!”

— MICHELE KASL

“I've been a client of Halle's for over 15 years. A long career in dentistry has played havoc on my back, my neck, my shoulders and my wrists. Seeing Halle regularly allows me to continue working much more comfortably. She works out all my kinks and knots, and offers suggestions for stretching and exercises to keep me limber. She listens to my concerns and adjusts her treatment accordingly. A quintessential professional!”

— DEB ANDERSON

“My husband and I have gone every 4 weeks to Halle Nero, for the past 14 years. That statement, in itself, is a testimonial as to how awesome she is. As a person, Halle is friendly, compassionate and concerned about your wellbeing. As a therapist, she is knowledgeable and organized. Her workspace is relaxing and quiet. Scenic posters decorate the walls; candles glimmer in the dimly-lit room, and calming music plays softly. All of this sets the tone for the perfect massage. She will ask questions to determine what type of massage you want, or need. If you want to chill out — she can make that happen. Need to get the bumps and tightness out of your body from a stressful job? — she can do that too! She aims to please, and in 14 years we can truly say that our massages are always different and effective. We would highly recommend Halle to someone who wants to experience their first massage — or to the person who gets massages on a regular basis and wants the best!"

— THOM & DOLLY CALDWELL

“I have been to many massage therapists over the years, and Halle is definitely one of the best around! Whether I need relaxation or intense deep tissue massage — or anything in between — she is exceptional. I am really impressed with her extensive knowledge of muscle/joint issues and overall body mechanics. She helped me immensely while I was recovering from ACL surgery last year, and she has taught me several helpful exercises and stretches that have been very effective. I see Halle monthly, and I am ALWAYS looking forward to my appointments! She's the best!"

— LANA MUSSER

“I strongly recommend Halle, as she is among the best when it comes to massage therapy. She has cared for many, many of my patients over the past 17 years and I have never had anyone say anything but great things about her work. She is dedicated, caring, and extremely professional. I am grateful for what she does for my patients, as well as for me personally."

— DR. PAUL BIZJAK

“My first massage with Halle was in the fall of 2018. After that experience, I was hooked and have continued to see her monthly. For someone who carries tension in my neck and shoulders, Halle is well-attuned to my body and focuses where needed to relieve stress and restore strength. Halle sets herself apart as she truly cares about her clients and takes time to develop meaningful relationships with those she serves — even following up after sessions to ensure I’m feeling better. I am very thankful for Halle and always look forward to my time with her!"

— KRISTA STEEDLY

“Halle is by far the best of the best! We have had the pleasure of knowing her and enjoying her massages since the beginning of her practice. We have had many massages around the world and we are always glad to return home to one of her treatments. A 'Halle massage' has been a Christmas treat for our athletic grandkids for several years and they look forward to it every year. She is truly the BEST!"
